  1. Get House under the Delhi Awas Yojana The Union Urban Development Ministry has given Delhi Development Authority (DDA) two months time for necessary changes in Master Plan Delhi 2021. The Ministry has asked the DDA to notify the master plan by the end of this year, that it will accelerate its mid-term review. Urban Development Secretary Shankar Agrawal reviewed the progress of mid-term review on DDA's behalf on Thursday. On this occasion, DDA Vice-President Balwinder Kumar, Additional Secretary of Urban Development Durga Shankar Mishra and other senior officers of the concerned agencies including Fire Department were present. A senior official of the ministry said that Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu has instructed that notification of changes in the master plan should be issued by the end of this year. Notification of Master Plan-2021 was issued in February, 2007. This was to be reviewed within five years. The mid-term review was started in 2011, but it has not been completed yet. Naidu took seriously the issue of delays in mid-term review last month. He had told the officials of the ministry that they would be sure to complete this work soon. Under the DDA Housing Scheme people can able to get houses at very reasonable rates in different area of Delhi. Under this scheme area near the Delhi will also cover. Delhi Awas Yojana of Delhi government is one of best scheme for the people who want to take homes in NCR region but not able to afford them. Under this one able to get home at very reasonable rates.
