The term "Hatha" originates from the Sanskrit language, symbolizing "force" or "effort." Hatha yoga focuses on performing poses with precision, requiring effort combined with proper breathing patterns. It facilitates harmony among the mind, body, and soul, promoting overall well-being. Hatha yoga is suitable for individuals of all age groups and fitness levels. It offers relief from various ailments and is particularly beneficial for those seeking stress reduction, anxiety management, and addressing other mental health issues. Originating in India around 600 BC, Hatha yoga was founded by the sage Patanjali. Patanjali aimed to introduce a form of yoga that would restore balance to the body, mind, and soul.
