  2. The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. • The group's best-known lineup consisted of John Lennon,Paul McCartney, George Harrisonand Ringo Starr.

  3. John Lennon

  4. Lennon got acquainted with artist avant-gardist Yoko Ono in 1966 when came on her exhibition in "Indyk's" art gallery. • Lennon was shot and killed in December 1980.

  5. Paul MacCartney

  6. Paul McCartney lives and to this day. • Guinness World Records described McCartney as the "most successful composer and recording artist of all time"

  7. George Harrison

  8. Harrison died of lung cancer in November 2001.

  9. Ringo Starr

  10.  McCartney and Starr remain musically active.
