  3. Class Objectives • Name at least four reasons why tactual materials should be used when teaching students of various ages. • Create at least five of the tactual resources.

TACTUAL RESOURCES • Many students of all ages learn best when utilizing tactual resources. • The setting can be adjusted to accommodate varied learning style preferences. • The resources are often game like and therefore very motivating. • The resources are self corrective. • Fear of failure, embarrassment or anxiety is eliminated or reduced.

  5. Creating Tactual Resources • Create the tactual resources according to your learning style. • You can work alone or with a partner. • You may choose to complete the resources by: • reading the directions, • examining the samples, or • working with an authority figure.
