The D2B (Door-to-Balloon) Alliance for Quality, led by the American College of Cardiology (ACC), aims to enhance patient care by significantly reducing door-to-balloon time for STEMI patients. A dedicated workgroup under the Quality Strategic Development Committee (QSDC) has identified evidence-based strategies and is developing supportive tools, educational materials, and dissemination strategies. Partnering with 35 strategic organizations, including AHA and NHLBI, the initiative seeks to engage hospitals and improve performance knowledge with CME and ABIM credits available.
