All about GMAT that You Should Know GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test, which is taken by the students who wish to seek admission in a graduate management programme, for instance, MBA or Masters in business or finance related courses. Many feel that GMAT is a test based on your computer knowledge but it is not so, GMAT is actually a adaptive computer test, where the student candidate is given one question at a time depending on how he performed in his previous question. Let us study the various aspects of GMAT:

  2. Age Criteria If an individual wishes to appear for GMAT, he must be a minimum of 18 years of age. However, there is no upper limit for appearing in the test. If a candidate between the age group of 13-17 years wishes to appear for the test, he/ she need to present written permission regarding the same from their parents/ guardians. Required Qualification Up till now, there hasn’t been any announcement from the GMAC regarding a basic qualification requirement for an individual to appear for the GMAT. However, if a candidate wishes to enroll for an MBA programme must necessarily be a graduate in any discipline from a certified university. Gmat Pattern To test the abilities of the candidates, the GMAT is divided into four sections- ●Analytical Writing Assessment consists of an analysis of an argument, ●Integrated Writing consists of graph interpretation, Table analysis, etc, ●Quantitative includes data sufficiency and problem-solving skills ●Verbal skills that include Reading comprehension, reasoning, and sentence editing.
