  3. Bart Hewitt Bart is the Accountability and Reporting Leader for the Office of Planning and Accountability. He leads the Accountability and Reporting Team and has responsibility for REEport and Legacy CRIS business functions, the national effort for the State Plan of Work and Annual Report process, the Multistate Research Fund Project Proposal approvals for NIFA; and develops performance information for the PART and NIFA Budget.   8. What is Affected • October 1, 2010 - Non-Formula Grant Project Initiation Implemented • Replaces CRIS AD-416 and 417 • January 15, 2011 - Non-Formula grant Progress Reporting • Formula project reporting will remain in CRIS Web-Forms until October 2011 E-mail questions to rwc@nifa.usda.gov

  9. Training and Production Portal Sites • The Training site will be available to all Sites by September 1, 2010. • The Portal Production site will be available to all Sites by mid-September. • October 1, 2010 – REEport for Non-Formula Grant Initiation E-mail questions to rwc@nifa.usda.gov

  10. Procedure for Accessing the REEport • The procedure will be to access the Portal then select the REEport application • The portal will include news and messages to be posted • It will be expanded to include access to POW and the Partner Dashboard • One web site to access NIFA reporting E-mail questions to rwc@nifa.usda.gov

  11. Site Administrator and PDs • Site Administrators and PDs already in CRIS will be pre-loaded. • Example coming up • Uses PD not PI • In concert with Grants.Gov application • Federal data need • Need to know PD, Co-PDs, no need to know all investigators E-mail questions to rwc@nifa.usda.gov

  12. Who for Non-Formula Grant Projects? • Site Administrators • A Site may have more than one SA • To allow backup and share workload • PDs that apply for non-formula grants as the primary PD in Grants.Gov • A PD may be in more than one Site (joint appointment) • Others are at discretion of Site • May include all PDs • May set up Reviewers or “Readers” E-mail questions to rwc@nifa.usda.gov

  13. What about Formula Grant Projects? • Formula, next year, will require PDs responsible for Formula projects E-mail questions to rwc@nifa.usda.gov

  14. Bill Bristow Bill is an IT Specialist in the Information System and Technology Management Unit. He is responsible for work in REEIS, the Leadership Management Dashboard, EFNEP reporting system, and the NIFA Portal for accessing future reporting systems.   15. Joe Barbano Joe is the REEIS Project Manager n the Information System and Technology Management Unit. He is the lead person for development of REEIS, the Leadership Management Dashboard, and the NIFA Portal for accessing future reporting systems.
