  5. The Team offers Individual support  Small group sharing experiences  Retreat facilitation  Rituals and memorial services after a loss  Guidance on communication issues  Stress management  Self-care skill development

  6. Benefits  Improves staff/patient interactions  Increases team efficiency and productivity  Reduces staff burn-out  Addresses compassion fatigue  Encourages personal development

  8. Nationally $300 billion is spent annually on stress related compensation$7,500 per employee

  14. What you can do…  Acknowledge your employees and the work they do  When a significant event occurs, ask for support from the Staff Self Care Coordination Team  Asking for support for you and your employees can lead to decreased stress for everyone
