Brief History of Team Solent FC • BUCS Football, Men’s & Ladies • Local League Football, 2005 – Present • Link with Oakwood Junior FC 2006 • FA Charter Standard Accreditation 2007 (still existing) • BUCS ‘Focus’ Football Accreditation 2008 • FA Step 7 and Football Facility Plans 2008 • Futsal Development 2010 • Ladies Local League Football 2011 • Test Park Facility Opened and Wessex League (FA Step 6) • Community Football Leagues • Today!

Coach Ed & Academic Courses Coach Education 2010/11 • 535 attended NGB courses in 2010/11, with a completion rate of 85% • 34 NGB courses were delivered in 2010/11 • 104 people completed FA Level 1 courses, along with 18 FA Level 2, 29 Coaching Disabled Footballers and 46 Futsal. Predicted Coach Education 2011/12 • 811 spaces available on NGB courses, with a further 390 on CPD modules • 43 NGB courses a programmed for 2011/12 • 128 people completed FA Level 1 courses, 18 FA Level 2, 38 Coaching Disabled Footballers, 39 Futsal and 12 Deaf Footballer Award. Faculty of Business, Sport and Enterprise 28 Leisure based courses across the faculty Include the Sport Sciences, Sports Coaching, Sports Studies As well as Football Studies and Heath & Fitness / Personal Training
