Case Study • Hydraulic oil discharge in Bayou Bouef: • An estimated 40 gallons of hydraulic oil discharged from a barge at the shipyard. While the crew was conducting repairs on the hydraulic pump, the o-ring was not placed in the connection; resulting in a discharge. • Time Frame – Mid December • Temperature – 58 °F
