  1. THE BEST WAY TO PLAN YOUR BREAKFAST ON THE AIP DIET We all know the famous adage; "Eat Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince and Dinner like a Pauper." This saying emphasizes the importance of breakfast being the most important meal of your day. Take the time to read below, this will provide you with tips to kickstart your day in a smarter AIP way…that just rhymed! 1. Never skip the first meal of the day: Breakfast is the most essential meal of the day and eating a protein-rich breakfast increases metabolism and improves healthier choices throughout the day. Don’t skip your breakfast, especially if you are suffering from an autoimmune disorder. You must eat to help maintain your blood sugar levels and prevent exhaustion. 2. Avoid a sweet breakfast: Don’t get in the habit of eating sweets for breakfast…you can keep those for Sunday brunch or special occasions. You must avoid having too many grams of fructose to begin (no more than 20 grams per day). When you have all your fructose for breakfast it can create an insulin spike which can increases the inflammation in your body and trigger autoimmune flares. At very least you may be craving sweeter food during the day. 3. Have a savory breakfast with proteins, vegetables and healthy fats: Remember to have a breakfast that is made of proteins, vegetables, healthy fats and fruits. This habit ensures that your body will have a larger amount of energy and fuel to keep you healthy. 4. Prepare your breakfast in advance: You can batch cook ahead of time or chop the veggies in advance for your morning. This makes things significantly easier in the morning and shortens prep time for breakfast. This ensures you don’t rush out the door without having a nutrition meal. 5. Bone broth to the rescue: Try the Paleo Perfection Protein Powder which is nutrient-dense, gut-healing bone broth. Whatever the case might be, this is always a good option for your breakfast routine. Not to mention, this is a perfect replacement for coffee. 6. Breakfast shakes:

  2. Many of us may prefer to drink a shake for breakfast. That is absolutely fine! We recommend adding a serving of vegetables, healthy fats and a source of protein to your shake. An AIP friendly or AIP compliant protein powder is an easy add-in. These tips can help you plan for a great AIP breakfast. Do not overthink it and stress out…start small and work to better and bigger solutions.
