  2. Fort Kochi is an amalgam of preserved colonial history. From exquisite arts, old and heritage hotels, mesmerizing sea food to aroma of spices and the catch of tourists. Fort Kochi has always been famous within every Indian and tourists and it is an honour to say that we keep our colonial history integral. With a great history of heritage and cultural, an incursion of Western travellers has indulged the harbour town into a dock of English-speaking, and antiques radiating from every shop. Fort Kochi has always been a fascinating subject. It is a very delightful land filled with cultural influence from various parts of the world that showcases the long history of Kerala and its flourishing spice trade. Fort Kochi is also considered as a wonderful honeymoon destination. There are many people coming from various parts of India and from international locations. The most reviewed and suggested hotel near fort kochi beach is the Dutch Bungalow. This is a heritage hotel and known as the “Glass Palace” among natives.

The Jews that migrated from the Malabar coast, white skinned were locally called as Paradesi (foreigner). The Sephardic Jews build the Paradesi Synagogue in 1567 on the land granted by the Kochi Raja.
