According to Dr. Abdul Rao, with the help of Google Health patients can store and manage their comprehensive healthcare information in a central place. It is not only secure and safe but also quite flexible electronic platform to suit individual's needs and requirements.
Dr. Abdul Rao further opines that Google Health helps the user in getting a merged health record, information on conditions and possibility of interactions between drugs, conditions and allergies. The healthcare industries worldwide process enterprise-wide information sharing cost effective, secure and flexible platforms.
Dr. Abdul Rao suggests its use as it is 24*7 accessible and very user friendly. With such integration health care providers have been able to increase the efficiency of their facilities and quality of healthcare that is delivered to the patients.
About Dr. Abdul Rao Dr. Abdul S. Rao did his medical degree from Dow Medical University, Karachi, Pakistan, in 1983. After completing his residency training in Orthopedic Surgery, Abdul Rao joined the Department of Physiology, Boston University School of Medicine and graduated in 1989 with a M.A., in Physiology.
He completed a year of post-doctoral Research Fellowship in the Department of Neurology, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Abdul Rao joined the Nuffield Department of Surgery, University of Oxford, Oxford, UK, as a Clinical Instructor from 1990-1993. He graduated from the University of Oxford with a D.Phil., (Doctor of Philosophy) in Transplantation Immunology in 1993.
