CSIRO Coastal Model Animations

This study focuses on advanced hydrodynamic modeling of the Storm Bay, D'Entrecasteaux, Huon, and Derwent estuaries in Tasmania. Utilizing the SHOC model output, it examines the interactions between estuarine and offshore environments. The research includes sediment modeling of macrotidal systems, investigating suspended sediment dynamics in the Fitzroy Estuary and Keppel Bay. Additionally, it encompasses coupled sediment and contaminant modeling, specifically assessing zinc concentrations in the Derwent Estuary, contributing valuable insights for environmental management.
