  3. SOFT AND Hard Boiled EggS Egg Yolk • Soft boiled eggs; the yolk, and sometimes even the white, remains "runny". • Hard-boiled eggs are produced by boiling until both the egg yolk and the egg white are solid • Boiled eggs are served in egg cups Egg White Egg Shell Egg cup

Poached Eggs • A Poached egg is an egg that has been cooked by poaching in water. • The egg is cracked then placed into boiling water and cooked until the egg white has solidified but egg yolk remains soft. • The secret to making the perfect poached egg is to add a few drops of vinegar to the boiling water.   7. Fried Eggs • A fried egg is an egg cooked by frying typically in cooking oil, butter or margarine. • There are many ways to cook a fried egg and each guest will have their own preference • The different methods include; • Sunny Side Up • Over Easy • Over Medium • Over Hard

  8. SUNNY SIDE UP • Sunny Side up is only cooked on one side and the yolk is runny Chef: Good Morning Sir, how would you like your eggs cooked today? Guest: I would like to have 2 eggs cooked sunny side up please

  9. OVER EASY • Over Easy means the egg is cooked on both sides but the egg yolk is still runny. Chef: Good Morning Sir, how would you like your eggs cooked today? Guest: I would like to have 2 eggs cooked over easy please

  10. OVER MEDIUM • Over Medium means the egg is cooked on both sides but the egg yolk is no longer runny. Chef: Good Morning Sir, how would you like your eggs cooked today? Guest: I would like to have 2 eggs cooked over medium please

  11. OVER HARD • Over Hard means the egg has been cooked both sides and the egg yolk is hard (Well done). Chef: Good Morning Sir, how would you like your eggs cooked today? Guest: I would like to have 2 eggs cooked over hard please

  12. SCRAMBLED EGGS • Scrambled eggs is a dish made from beaten eggs. They are cooked on a hot pan and stirred frequently, forming curds as they coagulate. • You can add ingredients the eggs such as ham, cheese, spinach, bacon, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms etc. • You should always ask the guest for their preference. Chef: Good Morning Sir, how would you like your eggs cooked today? Guest: I would like to have scrambled eggs Chef: Certainly, how do you prefer your scrambled eggs? Guest: I would like some Tomato, Cheese and Onion, Please.

  13. omelettes • An Omelette is a dish made from beaten eggs with a small amount of milk/cream/water added and then quickly cooked with butter or oil in a frying pan. • Omelettes are often folded around a fillings such as cheese, ham, vegetables etc. Chef: Good Morning Sir, how would you like your eggs cooked today? Guest: I would like to have an omelette Chef: Certainly, what would you like to have inside your omelette? Guest: I would like some Ham, Tomato, Cheese and Onion, Please.

GUEST: I would like some fried eggs CHEF: How would you like your fried eggs cooked? GUEST: Sunny side up please CHEF: Please have seat sir and I will bring them to your table GUEST: Thank you
