International Mobilitywith Mexico • Cégep international has an agreement with Coordinación general de Universidades Tecnológicas (CGUT) in order to facilitate mobility between Cégeps and Technological Universities • Québec government supports students mobility with Mexican UTs through a special mobility program allowing our students to do a session or internship in Mexico

  12. Québec - México • Many cégeps have individual agreements with MexicanInstitutos técnicas (ITEC) to receive Mexican students and send their students to Mexico • Through those agreements, many students spend a whole session in the partner’s institution

  13. Québec and United-States • Very few exchanges • Lack of follow-up actions when agreements are signed (ex.: Wisconsin Technical Colleges) • Few collaborations through the North American Mobility Program supported by the government of our 3 countries

Together, exploring further… • How can we build bridges among our three countries through students mobility? • How can we better use the existing programs and structures : CONAHEC, North American Mobility Program, etc. • How can we establish closer links between the national associations (ACCC/Cégep international, AACC, CGUT, etc.)?

Cégep international a partner to step forward… • Cégep international works closely with ACCC to develop international mobility • Cégep international is a recognized partner managing mobility programs on behalf of Québec government for cégeps • Cégep international wish to be part of an integrated North American partnership
