To make it stick --- • Financial education vs literacy • Needs to be engaging and integrate career & • Develop skills needed now for the future • Use PFL now! • The teacher (and future Team Leaders) must have FUN! • No question we need Financial Education but we need it with outcomes. We must use PFL to change the future for the students and for our nation! Personal Financial Literacy

Credited Curriculum 2-day Regional Game • Students learn the curriculum and then compete • Speed Interview with local volunteers • Experience Reality • College Funding • Job -> Standard of Living -> work forever • Pay tax, FICA, Save • Consumer Purchases • Celebration dinner • Instructor & Class select the winning team • Compete at a regional Game • Interviewed, Trained & Managed by volunteers • Students “age” from 19 to 26 in 1½ hour intervals making age appropriate life decisions • Award ceremony How the Game is played
