Analyzing Cognitive Interventions in Older Adults with Mild Cognitive Impairment: A Meta-Analysis

This study reviews the efficacy of cognitive training interventions aimed at older adults with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Out of 24,145 potential papers, 175 were found potentially eligible. We focused on 34 studies, including 10 on cognitive training specific to MCI. The study excluded 79 papers that did not meet criteria such as being non-cognitive interventions or focusing on younger subjects. We categorized findings into cognitive exercises, memory strategies, and other modalities, assessing their impact on cognitive health in older populations.
