  3. CROPS AND ANIMALS CROPS – wheat, rye, sugar, bananas, citrus fruits EFFECTS – Fed the Europeans and Afr. Slaves ,but caused more slavery! They created huge plantations growing these crops. ANIMALS: cows, pigs, horses, goats, sheep. EFFECTS – destroyed Native Am. crops

  4. From West to East( From Am. to Afr. and Eur.) • CROPS – Potatoes, corn, tomatoes, beans EFFECTS – These fed Europe Ex. Ireland - Corn feeds Africa
