  2. Premise: Monica won't tolerate a light switch that does nothing. So she wants to fix it herself.  In the course of her actions, she gets a few electrical shocks, makes a few holes in the wall and scares Rachel with the scale of her operations. Little did Monica know that the light switch is connected to Joey's TV which suddenly switches off for no particular reasons.

  5. Beat 1 • Monica finds out about a light switch that does nothing => • Monica wants to find the problem.

  6. Beat 2 • Monica gets excited and involves her friends to help her => • The problem with the light switch turns out to be difficult to find.

  7. Beat 3 • Monica’s friends don’t help her and make fun of her => • Monica buys an electrical plan for the building and decides to fix the problem by herself.

  8. Beat 4 • The problem gets really complicated and it takes Monica to make holes in the wall to find the loose wires => • Rachel gets angry with Monica

  9. Beat 5 • Monica quits => • Joey’s TV starts switching on and off when he watches it with Phoebe.
