  1. Word Scramble Instructions Using the letters in the scramble; how many words can you make? You can use them in any order, as many times as you like… A L S E R I G N N Move me for a challenge. Now… Create a sentence with a word, which uses a dropped in clause.

  2. Creative Maths Instructions How many number sentences can you create, using the four standard operations (+ - ÷ x) and the numbers below, which result in the total: 24 2 12 8 3 6 48 4 Move me for a challenge. Now… Can you use brackets in a number sentence.

  3. Mystery Picture • Instructions • Look carefully at the picture. • Then try to write ten questions that you have about the picture Now write ten predictions about the picture. Move me for a challenge.

  4. Hidden Words Instructions How many smaller words can you find in the bigger word? You can only use each letter once, in your new words. Superlative Find out what the big word means and write it into a sentence. Move me for a challenge.

  5. Multiple maths Instructions How many number sentences can you write that result in the total, using only the addition operation : 230 Move me for a challenge. Now… Use a different operation to undo your number sentences.

  6. Story Starter Instructions Look carefully at the images. Now write a five part micro story, which uses all five images. Now… Learn and perform your story. Move me for a challenge.

Dice BUst • Instructions • Play with a partner. • Player 1 rolls two six sided dice. • They add together the two dice, remembering to keep a running total. • Decide whether to roll againor to bank your total and pass the dice on. • However if you roll a single one you lose any unbanked total and if you roll two ones you lose all of your total, even if it is banked. • The first to 100 wins.
