This study analyzes the size variation of three oyster lines—Green Hill Pond (GHP), Hybrid (GHP x NEH), and North Eastern High-Survival (NEH)—over a period of 68 weeks at four different Rhode Island farms. Mean shell heights (in mm) and standard deviations were measured tri-weekly from June 2008 to October 2009 at Narragansett Bay farms (NB1 and NB2) and coastal pond farms (CP1 and CP2). The research aims to understand the growth patterns of these oysters in different environmental conditions.

Mean shell heights (mm) ± standard deviations of 100 oysters from each line (GHP: Green Hill Pond; HYB: Hybrid GHP x NEH; NEH: NorthEastern High-Survival) were measured tri-weekly for 68 weeks at Narragansett Bay farms NB1 (A) and NB2 (B) and coastal pond farms CP1 (C) and CP2 (D) from June to October 2008 and from May to October 2009.
