  1. ABOUT US Academy of Applied Arts is India’s premier institute for Visual Merchandising, Retail Design and Interior Design. Backed by a highly qualified faculty we are vigorously engaged in teaching, researching and propagating these little understood fields of study and their enormous impact on the buying and selling of goods and services. Our decade long experience of providing design solutions to individuals, brands and companies across the globe enable us to bring our well honed expertise to India. We help budding interior and retail designers refine their design knowledge and skills, in the process allowing them to channel their creative gifts into something commercially productive.   2. Programs at the Academy of Applied Arts You and your education are our top priority. Our supporting and nurturing environment coupled with our extensive in-depth knowledge ensures accelerated learning. All our programs are intensive and incorporated with practical experiential tools. Fifty percent of the course time is devoted to practical workshops. These workshops provide much needed hands-on experience that helps you vastly improve your performance.

Admission Requirements Eligibility Criteria: Candidates whose results are awaited /or who have completed 10 + 2 (CBSE / ICSE / State Board or equivalent as per UGC guidelines) can apply for the program.A candidate should have a flair towards artistic & creative skills. Also, a candidate should be able to communicate in English. Design Aptitude Test: A candidate needs to appear for a ‘Design Aptitude Test’. The objective of the test is to understand the creative knowledge, communication skills and general aptitude towards design. Upon successfully clearing the test, the students can apply for the admission form. A student then can enroll himself/herself in the desired programs.

  4. Registration/Admission Guidelines: a. The applicants need to fill in the admission form with all the required information.b. Admission forms with incomplete information will not be accepted.c. Candidates not satisfying the eligibility criteria will not be accepted.d. The admission of a student is only granted provisionally and shall get confirmed only after the complete submission of the required documents.e. Non fulfillment of the information/documents required will lead to cancellation of the provisional admission.

  5. Student Projects Our projects are an amalgamation of visual merchandising and interior design initiative within Academy of Applied Arts. We focus on ‘Live’ projects where our students and faculty engage with brands across the nation delivering outcome on a range of formats. These experiential learning exercises enable students create excellent industry links, credible portfolios and also placements.“We’ve had a meaningful association with Academy of Applied Arts and have been using their services over the years for our major stores.
