  1. How Can My PC Be Restored Using Acer Erecovery Management?

  2. Is your PC not loading to Windows Operating system? Are you trying to restore your computer using Acer eRecovery Management? Well if you use this method to restore your computer then you will get three options:

  3. Completely Restore System to Factory Defaults: you PC will completely be erased and Windows will reinstall to the same state as it was for the first time you turned on the system. • Restore Operating System and Retain User Data: Data in the user account folder will be saved, still it is recommended to backup all other data if perform this step. • Reinstall Drivers or Applications.

  4. Acer Support will explain the third option later in this blog; this service helps all customers who come up with such type of issues. Without completely reinstalling the windows your issue will be resolved and Windows will be recovered, just follow the below-provided steps:

Go to Start menu and click All Programs. • Click the Acer folder in the program list andgive a click on the icon of Acer eRecovery Management. • If you are asked for the permission to run the program by the Windows User Account Control then click Yes. • From the window of AcereRecoveryManagementclick on Restore on the left side. • Now click the option titled as Completely Restore System to Factory Defaults.

Click Yes on the confirmation screen and go to Start. • Agreeing to the notice (all data will be erased) on screen after the restart of the PC click Yes. • You can click Cancel if the data hasn’t been backed up. • On the final confirmation screen click Yes, to start the recovery process click OK. • When recovery finishes click OK and the system restarts.

  7. To complete the restore process it will take few minutes and system will restart again. Now Windows will appear like you have started it for the first time. Now the third option left in above process will be explained here: Reinstall Drivers and Applications will allow you to reinstall any app or driver that might not be installing before reinstalling Windows.

  8. Click Start > All Programs > Acer folder > Acer eRecovery Management icon. • Click Yes to run the program. • Now click Restore > Reinstall Drivers or Applications > Contents. • Selectthe app or driver to be installed. • Click on the Install link and follow whatever is prompted.

  9. When installation process finishes PC will restart now if it doesn’t shut it down and then restart.
