Employer Outreach Program Coordinator/Employer Liaison Role • Concept • Be a Liaison between Service Members and Employers • Assist deploying Service Members in understanding rights and responsibilities to their employers • Assist employers with their understanding of their rights and responsibilities to Service Members • Maintain contact with deployed Service Members employers • Attain relationships with the communities and businesses to create job opportunities • Outreach to Business Community in Promoting Minnesota Reserve Component Service Members as Value Added Employees

  4. Employment Programs • “Get the Job” • HR Experts assist with Resume, interview and career coaching • “Yellow Ribbon Employment Coaches” • Review Resumes • Strengthen Interview Skills • Build Networks • Coaching through job search process

  5. Employment Programs • Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Website Job Posting • Businesses contact BTYR and post positions with military friendly businesses • Service Members and Family can go to web site to sign up for email notifications for job posting and other informational distributions

  6. Employment Programs • Job Seekers List • Conduct Resume Reviews • Distribute Job Postings • Email Megan at Megan.Riffe@us.army.mil • Promoting Veterans as Employees with all Businesses we have contact with
