  1. Today your child participated in a science activity! Today they learned about the simple machine called a gear. They learned that they are round, have teeth, and a hole in the middle for an axle. They also learned about the motions clockwise and counter-clockwise. Below are some pictures that were taken during the activity. As a memory of their experience, each student received a noise maker ~ you’re welcome ;) ~ that uses a gear as part of its function!
