  2. Netherlands is situated in the west ofEurope on the North Sea, it boarders with Belgium and Germany. The Kingdom of Netherlands consists of Netherlands and six islands on the Caribbean Sea. The surface of Netherlands is 41865 km2. Geography

  3. The name of the country comes from the name of province Holtland which means the country of forest. Netherlands means also ‘Low country’, because 25% of this country is situated below the sea level. History

There are diffrent music festivals in Netherlands: • Pinkpop – it is rock music festival and it takes place in Londgneaf every year. • Defagon1 – it took place in Almere, but from 2010 it takes place in Biddinghoizm every year and it presents different types of music. • NeuroticDeathfest – it is deathmetal music festival and from 2008 it takes place in Tilburg Music

Qulimax – it is handstyle music festival, it takes place in Arnhem. • Sensadion – it takes place in Amsterdam and it presents differend kinds of music like dance or techno. • The famous composers from Netherlands are: • Willem de Fesch, Jan Pietetszoon Sweelinck Willem Pijper, Jeoren Tel, Jacob de Haan, Alian Clark.
