  3. Overview • The District Newsletter • Region Ads • Articles • Visuals • Division Updates • Committee Articles • Reminders of Publication Deadlines

  4. How to Encourage Clubs to Submit Articles • Keep updated on what clubs are doing. • Speak to officers frequently about events and projects they are doing and encourage them to write articles about them. • Provide topics and inspiration through updates. • If the division has done a recent project, encourage clubs to write about it by providing topics through your reflectors, groups, or emails.

  5. Region Ads

  6. Region Ads • What is a Region Ad? • Ads that provide creative educational tools on the various regions and divisions of the district. • These Region Ads are used to advertiseand feature the members, clubs, and different locations within our district! • These are not personal ads on Board members • What is included in a Region Ad? • Region Ads are used to showcase whatever you would like to feature about your region! • Remember that our audience is quite diverse.

  7. Region Ad Contents • Division Statistics • Clubs in your Divisions • Club/Member of the months • Past/Upcoming Region Events(DISCLAIMER: When advertising any Upcoming Region Events or Projects, be sure to clarify that these happenings are closed to ONLY members of YOUR region. Though these Ads will be available for all CNH Members to see, we are NOT inviting them to your Region's event. This is important!) • Region/Division Goals • Feature your Region’s Location (what’s special in your region? San Francisco Bay, Disneyland, Yosemite National Park, Home of the Great Artichoke, Cabazon Dinosaur…)

  8. Keep all content appropriate! Remember: These are Ads and they do not call for all the proper Key Club headers and Logos. Utilize as much space as you can with meaningful content. Be creative! Don’t use the Pencil or other large file inserts! Opt out for block headers and other shapes! It is not a photo collage It is NOT all about the Board member Keep the file size small.

  9. Region Ads: Remember • It is HIGHLY encouraged that Region Ads are very inclusive. • feature ALL divisions in one Ad • These ads are not about board members. • Please remember to focus these ads towards the members!
