In this presentation, I share effective strategies to enhance students' writing skills, based on my experience at the 45th IATEFL Conference in Brighton. Despite teaching high intermediate learners, many struggle with writing quality and engagement. I propose four innovative ideas: 1) Mini writings for prompt-based practice, 2) A vocabulary bank for building language skills, 3) Feedback mechanisms to encourage improvement, and 4) A Reading Club to foster comprehension and discussion. These methods aim to motivate students and enhance their overall writing capabilities.
