CIP – Conference Information and Promotion Christoph Ilgner - CIP • Supporting each year’s NSS/MIC organising committee with conference promotion and with the distribution of conference information through a variety of activities world-wide (non IEEE organisation) • An chair (Ingrid-Maria Gregor), a coordinator (Dora Merelli), and active members from different continents. A very international group from all over the world (~30 members/ 10 very active) • CIP - Main activities: • Announcements • Attendees mailing list (mails send by Dora Merelli) • External mailing lists (local/national mailing list) • Web sites! • CIP at Other Conferences • Posters/Call for Papers • CIP in Journals (e.g. CERN Courier, Physics Today) • Review and advice on Conference material

Regular CIP Activities Christoph Ilgner - CIP CIP at the “y” Conference (y = year of upcoming conference) • Info Table: • Posters and Call for Papers for the “y+1” Conference • Tourist information (video, brochures) on the “y+1” Conference Site • Evaluation Form (“Questionnaire”) • Production, distribution, collection • Analysis and distribution of results to “y” and “y+1” chairs and Committee

Info Table in Hawaii Christoph Ilgner - CIP • JF Pratte (Brookhaven) and Susanne Kuehn (Freiburg) are in charge for the CIP table 2007 • Information Material organised by Ralf Engels • Small “gadgets” to enhance return of evaluation form • One big drawing (navigation system) • Table will be hosted during all sessions and breaks • Created shift list Promotion for Dresden 2008 already started!
