ACHROMATIC LENSAn achromatic Lens is a lens that is designed to limit the effects of chromatic and spherical aberration.Chromatic aberrations of a single lens causes different wave length of light to have differing focal lengths. Achromatic lenses are corrected to bring two wave lengths (red and blue typically) into focus in the same plane.
