  1. August 26, 2013 All Experimenters’Meeting

Machine Status • Proton Source Commissioning and Studies • Linac – studies, maintenance and repair (QPS, LRF3) • Booster – studies, maintenance and repair (WAPS) • Muon Campus chilled water leak • Main Injector • MI30 vacuum • Work progressing well, one complete section now. • MI back-fed from Master Sub-Station • KRS T85 work complete, but still using Feeder 45 for MI conventional • Need to schedule a 20 minute MI conventional power outage to remove the back-feed from Master Sub-Station after tunnel work. • SY120 • Neutrino Muon • G2 NM1 berm pipe progressing well • MTest • Preparing to sign startup paperwork, beam permit and run conditions • MC6 magnet replacement (4) • F4/A0 Cryo berm work

  4. Section 1 • Section 1 • Had contamination • Collimator beam pipe cleaned in place • Everything else replaced • Leak checked and pumped down over weekend • Connecting to Section 2-3 today, installing bellows

  5. Section 2 • Contamination • Bellows • Pirani Gauge • Waiting on a theory • Section 2 • Installed new beam pipe • Connected to section 3 and leak checked • Pumped down over weekend and looks good

  6. Section 3 • Connected to Section 2 • Pumped down over weekend

  7. G2 – NM1 Berm Pipe Progress • 560 feet pulled, last 5 pipes lowered, welding Tuesday • Last pull next week M. Geelhoed 8/23/2013
