Mrs. Eaker’s SyllabusTeacher: Heather Eaker Room:222Phone Number: 704-482-0343Email: heaker@clevelandcountyschools.org Class Rules Needed Materials Spiral Notebook Pencil Black or blue pen Planner • Students should begin the warm-up immediately after entering the classroom. • Students should listen when others are talking. • Students should show respect for school and personal property. • Students will not be allowed to leave the classroom once class begins. • Students should follow all school rules and procedures. • Class Procedures • Book bags and sports equipment should be kept in your lockers at all times. • Go to to the restroom, your locker, and water fountain before entering the classroom. • Students should come to class on time prepared with their needed materials. • Class work should be turned in on time.

What will happen if I don’t follow the rules and procedures? 1st offense: Warning. 2nd offense: Isolation from students ( in the classroom) and parents will be called or emailed. 3rd offense: Students will be sent to Chill Out and parents will be called or emailed. 4th offense: Students will be given an office referral 5. What if I have concerns about my student? Please feel free to contact me at any time. I can be reached at 704-482-0343. I will be free to speak with you during the following times: 10:15-10:45 , 12:30-1:15, before and after school. The best way to get in touch with me would be by email. heaker@clevelandcountyschools.org • Students will work on their Individualized Education Plan Goals and Objectives. We will also work on classroom technology skills, social skills, organizational skills, study habits, and work on self advocacy skills. Students will take interest inventories, learning styles inventories, and participate in activities to help them be successful in our community. • 2. What should I bring to class each day? Students should bring a spiral notebook, planner, pencil and/or pen to class each day. They are expected to have their planners-filled out with daily assignments written in them. • 3. How will I be graded in C and I? • Planner- 20% • Daily Assignments 80%
