Overview A ball bearing is released It trips a series of wooden levers From this a ping pong ball trips a gate This releases a second ping pong ball Both ping pong balls onto ramps into more ball bearings All weights fall into a funnel which guides them into a bucket Through a system of pulleys the counterweights lift the one kilogram mass

  4. Stored Energy / Design • Stored Energy from balls • Gravitational Potential Energy to Kinetic Energy • Design/Construction Issues • The project took 10-12 hours • Ball release • Trial and error for timing the weight • Lack of tools • Height dimensions

  5. Conclusion This project allowed us to learn about teamwork and time management
