This study highlights key research priorities for identifying and mitigating pressure ulcer (PU) risks in patients with spinal cord injuries (SCI). Focus areas include advanced imaging techniques for early detection, the role of biomarkers in PU development and healing, the impact of chronic inflammatory states, and the effects of comorbidities. Additionally, psychosocial factors, nutritional management, and risk assessment tools are examined, with some topics revealing a 0% response rate, indicating areas needing further investigation. This overview aims to guide future research efforts.
