As a school with Digital Media as our niche, we would provide students with to showcase the skills they had picked up from their lower secondary curriculum. Students going on GCP trips will produce a short 3-5 minute documentary / travel clip in groups

  1. As a school with Digital Media as our niche, we would provide students with to showcase the skills they had picked up from their lower secondary curriculum.

  2. Students going on GCP trips will produce a short 3-5 minute documentary / travel clip in groups • Each GCP group will submit 10 best photos from their trip • trips • This is to provide a platform for students to showcase their work.

  3. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the places they visit as they do research, create a script and produce a mini documentary.

  4. Students will have gain confidence as they speak in front of the camera and monitor and adjust presentations for effective delivery.

  7. 1. • focus on the hopes and aspirations of the people they meet in the places they go to. • What do the people they meet wish to do in the future? • Reflection of students

  8. 2. • Differences between the two countries e.g. language, culture, food, education system, hobbies, housing or any other interesting things.

  9. 3. • Many of the countries have rich traditions. Students could focus on traditional practices such as cooking, games, sports, attire, craft-making, and others. • Have they embraced modern lifestyle? How are they going to keep the traditions alive?

  10. Brainstorm on the selected theme • Do research • Plan the script (video and audio)

  11. Students may use their own equipment such as digital camera, videocam, iPhone or other andriods. • Windows Movie Maker or any other video editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro

  12. Videos and 10 Best photos • Within 5 weeks after return from trip • ICs to collate and submit to Hui Chen
