  5. Markets – Chinese consumers and Merchandising Malls, boutiques, and street market

  6. Republic & Co. High end specialty leather goods

  7. Company – Bestseller Fashion Group Ltd. – Danish Bestseller Group. Brands: ONLY, VERO MODA, JACK&JONES, SELECTED. Over 1600 concept stores in China Middle priced segment

  8. Furniture Factory - Xian small, private business. product by custom order.

  9. Company - Intertek One of the two largest testing labs for textile and apparel products in the world Located in Shanghai Clients – all over the world, including a lot of US companies.

  10. Factory - Haitian Small factory producing orders for Lacoste polo

  11. ‘Factory’ and shop for tourism by Chinese government Pearl, Jade, Enamel, Silk, embroidery… Photos: silk factory/shop

  12. Silk Rug Demonstration and shop

  13. Company - Zhongwei Textiles

  14. Factory - Tianzhu: Produce knit silk garment for EU market e.g. Triumph brand for Germany

  18. Overall, this 20 day study abroad experience in China was a once in a lifetime opportunity that we are so happy to have been a part of. Not only did we have a lot of fun, we also learned a lot about Chinese culture and about how merchandising is important not only here at home, but all around the world.
