Explore the experiences of Irish and Chinese immigrants as they sought better lives in America. Irish immigrants faced harsh living conditions in tenements during the Potato Famine, bringing cultural elements like St. Patrick's Day and contributing significantly to labor unions. Chinese immigrants, often arriving after 1848, faced challenges such as the Chinese Exclusion Act but enriched American culture with their cuisine and fashion. This project highlights their struggles, contributions, and the enduring impact they made on American society.
