Life of Confucius • Throughout his life, he was best known as a TEACHER. • Traveled to various kingdoms, preaching to the princes • Tried to improve GOVERNMENT and SOCIETY by convincing rulers to implement and follow his ideas • By the time of his death at the age of 72 he had a total of 3,000 DISCIPLES who carried on his teaching.
