  2. Urban or rural areas? South Korea • The majority of South Koreans live in urban areas. North Korea • 60% of North Koreans live in urban areas, while the remaining 40% reside in rural areas.

  3. Houses or apartments? South Korea • The majority of South Koreans live in high-rise apartments. North Korea • Working class people live in apartments, while government workers live in houses.

  4. How many people? South Korea • The average people living in a South Korean household is 3 people.

  5. How big is their living space? South Korea • The apartments of South Koreans tend include two or three bedrooms.

  6. Would you have your own bedroom? South Korea • Some South Koreans have the space for their children to have their own rooms; however, space is limited and on many occasions family members have to share a living space in the living room together.
