  3. Out of Chaos, Into Order In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)

  4. Out of Chaos, Into Order The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep (Genesis 1:2)

  5. Out of Chaos, Into Order • God said, “Let there be light,” • and there was light… • And there was evening • and there was morning, • the first day. And God made the expanse and separated the waters from the waters… the second day.

The same was in the beginning with God. • All things were made by him; • and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. • And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John... • Joh1:1-6
