WALT: how to use the time when talking about your timetable WILF: to identify the correct time in French when reading & listening (level 3) In order to talk about your timetable, you need to revise this vocab >> copy it into your books DAYS OF THE WEEK:Other vocab: le lundi = Monday nous avons = we have le mardi = Tuesday mon emploi de temps= my timetable le mercredi = Wednesday il est deux heures = itis 2 o’clock le jeudi = Thursday à deux heures = at 2 o’clock le vendredi = Friday

  2. There are going to be 2 tasks to complete today: • The tasks on this Powerpoint – reading / writing REMEMBER – keep working through this Powerpoint, until you are called out to do the listening exercise

  3. In your books, copy the time phrase in French and write the time in figures. The first one has been done for you as an example.

  4. In your books, complete each phrase by writing the time and the school subject in French.

  5. Copy the timetable into your book and complete the missing information in the gaps by reading the information in the sentences below.

  8. Look at the timetable. Copy each of the speech bubbles and write in your book which day of the week it describes Nous avons une classe de français et de maths le matin, et après la récré, c’est ma matière préférée, le dessin. À onze heures et quart nous avons la technologie, et le dernier cours, c’est le français. Je n’aime pas le sport, et c’est troisième cours aujourd’hui. Mais j’adore le cours de musique à neuf heures Nous avonsuneclasse de français et de maths le matin, et après la récré, c’est ma matièrepréférée, le dessin À onzeheures et quart nous avons la technologie, et le derniercours, c’est le français.
