Please Join Us for our - The garage sale is being organized by LINC 5, room 201- We would like to have “YOU” donate items to the garage sale on Thursday July 28th2011.- Garage sale will be an opportunity to help the people who are in need. Most of it will be for families of the drought victims in Africa.

  7. What is Famine? • Definition: a severe shortage of food (as through crop failure) resulting in hunger, mass starvation and death

  8. Horn of Africa? • The Horn of Africa includes the following countries: (Southern Sudan and Northern Kenya are also affected) • Eritrea • Djibouti • Somalia • Ethiopia

  9. Where is the money going? Canadian Red Cross • The Canadian Red Cross mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable people by mobilizing the power of humanity in Canada and around the world. • http://www.redcross.ca • 90% of money will go to aid
