  4. Why ISI

  5. ISI: Ambitious Expectation • The Graduated Engineer must have: • good basic knowledge in Mechanics, Electronic, Electrical Engineering, Heat Transfer, Control, Industrial Data Processing, Measurement, Networking • Global way (Integrated) of Designing Products, Maintenance and Installation • Good Hand in Design and Maintenance of a Whole Process Engineering All the above concepts must be taken into account at the same time 2 year started in Sep. 2003 but later extended to 30 months (March, 2006)

  6. ISI must have good basic knowledge in all different subjects but not expected to be master in all of them Instead Able to Share Knowledge with Specialists of Different Fields. Able to Define Components of System with Suppliers. Able to be Part of an Integration Team. Help Decision Making in Innovation and Adoption of New Equipment or Existing One. Able to Analyze Complex Engineering System.

  7. Project Activities To create a common core of knowledge as well as the methodology enabling the ISI of exchange expertise an Inter-University Network of People with special skills has to be created in the domain of ISI. For the Creation, the following actions are to be taken transfer of Scientific knowledge and Teaching Experience Reception of Middle-Eastern academics in European Institutes Teaching and studded Exchange Between Middles Eastern Institutes Partnership with Industry Local Companies

  8.
