    2. L’aerofotogrammetria La Fotogrammetria è una tecnica completa di rilievo topografico del terreno che utilizza fotografie scattate da diversi punti di vista (detti punti di presa). La quasi totalità delle carte topografiche viene oggi realizzata mediante l’aerofotogrammetria, quella branca della fotogrammetria in cui le prese fotografiche vengono realizzate a bordo di aerei o di palloni aerostatici. Grazie a questa tecnica di rilievo è oggi possibile realizzare carte topografiche di vaste zone in tempi notevolmente più ridotti rispetto alle tecniche tradizionali.
