Construct a table showing your numerals and the corresponding Hindu-Arabic numerals. Explain how to represent numbers in your system, and express a three-digit and a four-digit Hindu-Arabic numeral in your system.

  2. 1107 Group Project #2 Due Mon 1/24, 3 min PPT w/ Biblio, HC to me • Group 1 – Develop a time line showing significant developments in numeration systems. • Group 2 – Research and report on animals and number sense. • Group 3 – Research and report on the Hebrew Numeration System (or any other system not already discussed). • Group 4 –Report on The Rhind Papyrus and what we learned from it. • Group 5 – Research the history and development of the abacus • Group 6 – Research at least one method societies have used to perform computations. Examples include finger multiplication, the galley (or Gelosia) method, Egyptian duplation, subtraction by complements, or Napier’s bones.
