  13. 2. KSU Overview 2.7 External Back up Battery Installation 1. Connect the backup battery cable with 2 identical batteries (12VDC x 2ea). 2. Connect the external back up battery cable to the battery connector of the PSU. 3. After connecting the external backup battery cable, turn on the BATT SWITCH 4. Then, “BATT” LED of PSU will be turned ON if Battery feed the DC out voltage at AC Fail • CAUTION • 1) It is recommended to use an external backup battery Fuse between the battery and the System. • 2) Recommended battery capacity is more than 24V/20AH MF. • 3) Carefully check the battery polarity with cable colors (Red and Blue). • 4) Do not short out the external batteries and cables.   14. 3. System Components 3.1 Board Installation Firstly Check if AC Power is turned OFF before the installation of board. • Installation 1. Slide the board along the guide rails and hold the board as shown in second figure, carefully insert the Board in the direction of the arrow. 2. Press the Captive screw to turn it clockwise to fix it securely. • Extraction 1. Seize the Captive screw and turn itcounterclockwise. 2. Draw out the board securely. Component Description_LCOB4/LCOB8/LCOB12 3.5.e Connection & Wiring LCOB 1ST PORT(SUPPORTS PFT) If User wants to use the PFT function, CO1 Pin# 1, 2 should be connected to one of the SLIB interface port. LCOB PORTS EXCEPT 1ST PORT When the CO port is connected real PSTN line (or any SLIB line), that CO port need initial time about several seconds. That CO’s LED will be ‘ON’ during that time.
