  2. How to Save a Life with Heartsine Defibrillator? Cardiac arrest is a severe condition that is 90% fatal in the US. It is triggered by an electrical malfunction in the heart which leads to an uneven heartbeat. The pumping gets disrupted, which blocks the blood flow towards the lungs, brain and other organs of the body. In that period of time, the person loses consciousness and has no pulse. Death takes place within minutes if the victim does not receive treatment immediately.

  3. The chances of survival are just one in 10. Howbeit, if certain things are done in the correct order, those chances can be dramatically increased. This is known as the ‘chain of survival’ and it’s worth committing to remembrance whether you are the first comforter or not. It includes: • Quick Access: analyzing cardiac arrest and assembling essential assistance. • Immediate CPR: managing chest compressions to keep the heart flow going before the defibrillator reaches. • The Heartsine Defibrillator: the process shocks the heart back to a normal beating. • Advance Care: on average, it takes less than 10 minutes for an ambulance to arrive, so if you began the CPR within two minutes, start defibrillation in four minutes, the person may have a 40% chance of survival.

  4. Using the HeartSine AED to save a life: The chances of cardiac arrest happening to anyone is very high and anywhere. Taking into account that more than half of lives are spent at work, people have a fairly high chance of suffering a cardiac arrest at the workplace itself. HeartSine Defibrillator has three models: 350P, 360P and 500P. All these three models features illustrated instructions and voice prompts to instruct you through the whole process of defibrillation. Although training is recommended, these models are created in the way anyone can use it on both children and adults.

  5. Depending upon who you are treating a child or an adult determines which electrodes are inserted in the device. • Call for immediate assistance. • Remove the person’s clothing from their chest to expose bare skin. Now, open and apply the electrodes to the victim’s bare chest. • Pin electrodes securely to the patient’s bare skin. If the shock is necessary, the device will say “shock advised, press the orange button now” “shock delivered”. • An automatic defibrillator transfers a shock without any intervention following a warning.

  6. Following, you will then be prompted to carry out CPR. Start the CPR process, by placing overlapping hands in the middle of the chest and press directly down on the chest in time with the metronome. • After two minutes of chest compressions, the defibrillator will ask you to stop chest compressions with the “Stop CPR” sign. • The HeartSine AED will again check the patient’s heart rate with the message “assessing heart rate, do not touch the patient”. • At times, the device will advise you “no shock advised” and will prompt you to continue the CPR.

  7. These are the safety steps that will aid you to save the life of a patient during the time of the cardiac arrest. Follow it through to know in advance how to save someone’s life using the HeartSine Defibrillator. HeartSine Summary HeartSine is an automated external device (AED) that examines the heartbeat to identify the correct time to give an electrical shock to restore the heart to a normal rhythm.

  8. The three types of Defibrillators and its features: Everything you need for operating a cardiac arrest comes in a portable, light carry case (it is one of the smallest, lightest defibrillators on the market). It also bears the best industry rating of durability. So, you can use the HeartSine Defibrillator even outdoors in poor weather. 350P — AED with two buttons — ON/OFF and SHOCK 360P — AED with one button — ON/OFF (it administers shocks automatically) 500P — AED with one button and CPR adviser (talks you through the timing and quality of your chest compressions e.g. push harder/faster)

  9. You can check out our website AED USA where we also sell complete replica training modules in all three models. Therefore, the employees can familiarise themselves with how to use the HeartSine AEDs in an easy method.
