Other Features • Remote appears to be loaded with buttons, but has less than previous Harmony remotes • Features a motion sensor, so that when you pick up the remote, it automatically turns on • Logitech offers firmware upgrades for specific remotes, as well as upgrades to the Harmony desktop software

How to use it • Plug it into an internet ready computer with the USB cable (included) • Install the model-specific version of Harmony software, answer a simple online questionnaire. • Then choose your home-theater components; explain how they're connected; and define their roles in activity-based functions, such as Watch TV, Watch DVD, and Listen to music.

  5. Disadvantages • The biggest disadvantage…..it lacks RF compatibility (allows you to command components behind walls or doors) • Pricey • Ranges from $192-$263
