On May 21, 2003, 27 members of the Kent County Historical Society gathered at the Maryland State Archives, witnessing the urgent need for conservation of historical records. Ann Burris, a member of the Kitty Knight Questers, inspired her peers to support preservation efforts. Through collaboration with the Archives, the Questers funded treatments for deteriorating Kent County Court Records. Their dedication led to successful conservation efforts, with the records now accessible online. The Questers aim to secure further funding for additional preservation projects in future years.
